The fee of the appraiser:

For private appraisals and other surveys, the amount of my salary is based on §34 HOAI (Honorarordnung für Architekten und Ingenieure, Guideline for the Fees for the Services of Architects and Engineers).

In particular cases individual arrangements concerning the fee of the appraiser may be possible and even necessary, as the HOAI range of values for property does not always correspond to the scope of work, e.g. objects with a small scope of work but a high intrinsic value because of an excellent location or property of very low value that nevertheless require a certain amount of work.

When mandated by courts I am remunerated according to the Law on the Remuneration of Experts, Interpreters, Translators and the Compensation of Voluntary Judges, Witnesses and Others
